Working knowledge of your cameras buttons and dials. You don't have to know how to achieve a proper exposure, you just need to know where the buttons and dials are for changing your shutter speed, aperture (f/stop), ISO, and shooting mode (Manual, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Program). Please also find your Histogram and how to display it after an image is taken. Typically a menu item that you have to set. I may be able to help you. I'm familiar with NIKON and Sony equipment and somewhat familiar with Canon.

Refer to your users manual. Most cameras have their user manuals available in an APP. Check the App store for your model.
